Tractiv/Element79 is an interactive agency in Chicago looking for a Web Developer with an advanced understanding of HTML (both CSS and table-based layouts.), Javascript/AJAX and advanced Flash/HTML integration. You’ll be taking PSD and AI files and turning those into websites. We are looking for an aficionado of documentation, bug tracking, and source code management (Subversion) as you’ll be doing a lot of that too. PHP and/or Drupal theming knowledge is a big plus. Technical Competencies • Advanced understanding of HTML (both CSS and table-based layout.), and JavaScript/AJAX. • Solid knowledge of general development techniques, refactorization, and commenting. • Solid knowledge of Web protocols HTTPS, FTP, etc. • Basic understanding of Linux and Apache and MySQL.
